Creation of a cathedral wood screen

This screen is made of cathedral wood planks that we have assembled together.

A black painted steel frame surround them.

This frame is fixed on a wooden base painted in black.This screen measures 180cm high by 118cm wide and 30cm deep.

An ecological satin sealer is applied in 3 coats on the boards.

These planks come from cathedral wood trunks that we cut on our sawmill.

They were carefully chosen one by one for the assemblies in a harmonious way.

The assembly of this assembly is a traditional assembly of carpentry.

The cathedral wood comes from Guyana.

It is very rare to find it in France.
